How I used the resource:
I used the power-point with year 5 children to highlight the threat of air pollution in London and its effects on the environment and human body. We then discussed what positive actions we could take in our community to reduce air pollution near our school, specifically parents leaving their engines running when waiting at the school gates. The children then designed persuasive posters to discourage idling engines near the school. As the plenary the children undertook the short quiz.
